Welcome to an oasis of Lesbian and Gay… plan your wedding at “Lambda Gay Weddings”, our Lesbian owned and operated lesbian and gay wedding portal that only includes vendors actively seeking gay and lesbian customers. Very affordable vendor listings.
For the lesbian and gay population of the United States, this election was sad. It does not appear that the majority of the population in this country has evolved to a point of tolerance. It seems that the conservative right feeds off the climate in our country. We must band together and get strength and solace from each other and the organizations such as the Human Rights Campaign and the ACLU that fight for us. 2008 is right around the corner, and we hope that if a Democrat is not elected, that at least a tolerant, more centrist, more intelligent Republican is. Let us rejoice in our unions, our friends, and our community. Hold your head high and be proud. We hope that some day the politicians, courts, and the American people will finally do the right thing, and do right by us. Bless all of you.

“The Meaning of Commitment”
Private love has public consequences. What is it we do at a commitment ceremony? Something new, perhaps, unique to two persons, although not really. Any act of love, made public, teaches everyone who witnesses it a hard lesson each of us must learn over and over. Love desires to be spoken. Like God, in creation, love endures all things save silence. The world we… Read More

How You Can Save On Your Wedding
Weddings are a social gathering that will never diminish in today’s or our future’s society. That said, there are always different types of people from different cultures with different beliefs at every wedding. This article discusses ways to feel comfortable around different types of people at weddings and how to socially interact with them.
If you are the bride at the wedding, make sure that everything is how you want it. If you settle for less than what you want you will most likely not be pleased and not have the perfect day that you have dreamed about since you were a little girl.
Make your own decorations for the wedding reception. Enlist your friends and family members for help in creating favors, centerpieces and other decorations. Look for the unique talents that these individuals may be able to offer; if someone has nice handwriting, ask them to address your invitations and offer a service of your own in return.
Find a wedding venue that will be able to accommodate the ceremony and the reception. You are going to save money and time on the big day, by being able to combine the costs of two establishments into only one. It will also make it easier on the guests because they will not have to drive anywhere to get to the reception.
Ask the photographer how long your wedding picture negatives will be stored in his or her database. You may be able to put off that expense until after you’ve paid for all your other wedding bills. You might also consider asking your photographer in advance if he or she will hold your negatives for a set period.
So the time has come to plan your wedding and you’re not sure how to get everything done on the budget you have. You want it all to be perfect, without have to declare bankruptcy when it is over. In this article, we have provided you with some cost saving tips that can help any wedding work with any budget. Use them wisely and enjoy your big day.
